The Commissioner of Communications, Mr. George Michaelides and the Head of Digital Security Authority (DSA) Mr. Diamantis Zafeiriades, have attended a full day meeting of the Global Cyber Cabinet comprising of 15 member states of the CRI initiative, including the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Germany, England, Singapore, Interpol and more.

Cooperation, collaboration and new platforms were amongst the various subjects discussed. Cyprus and Israel have preliminary agreed to further investigate the possibility of developing a collaboration platform on Maritime cybersecurity.

During the cabinet meeting the Prime Minister of Israel Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu  took part in the discussion on the challenges we face on cybersecurity.
